We begin the day with a gentle drive heading west of Hanoi. Along the way, a short stop brings us closer to the culture of the Muong ethnic group, followed by a scenic break at Thung Khe Pass - where mist often sweeps across the cliffs and valleys below.
As we arrive in Mai Chau around noon, a warm local lunch awaits at a traditional stilt house. In the afternoon, a peaceful bicycle ride takes us through lush rice paddies and winding village paths. This is a time to slow down, soak in the calm scenery, and meet the Thai ethnic community as we pass through Pom Coong and Na Phon villages.
Return to your accommodation to unwind and enjoy the fresh mountain air before dinner is served.
