Walking through these historic tunnels, you will gain insight into the challenging conditions and remarkable ingenuity that defined life below ground.

We then return to Ho Chi Minh City for an afternoon of cultural discovery. Visit the Independence Palace, an iconic landmark closely tied to the country’s modern history. Continue to the Central Post Office, where elegant colonial architecture and intricate bas‑reliefs invite admiration. Just nearby stands the red‑brick Notre Dame Cathedral of Saigon, a graceful Catholic landmark dating back to the colonial period.

After breakfast at your hotel, we depart for Cai Be and embark on a boat trip upstream on the Cai Be River toward Tan Phong Islet. Here, we switch to a small rowing boat for a 20–25‑minute glide along narrow canals, surrounded by lush orchards and riverside life. You will have the chance to enjoy tropical fruits and listen to traditional folk music in a charming garden setting.

The journey continues with a visit to Phu Chau Pagoda or Cai Be Church. We then explore a traditional handicraft village where you can see popcorn making, rice paper crafting, beekeeping, and coconut candy production. Sample local specialties and sip honey tea before continuing by boat to Dong Hoa Hiep Village. Visit Mr. Kiet’s traditional southern home, recognized by UNESCO, or Mr. Ba Duc’s colonial‑era residence.

Lunch will be served at a traditional or garden house, followed by a return to Cai Be. We then transfer by road to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
