Itinerary idea in detail

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Hanoi to Pu Luong, a tranquil hideaway nestled in the mountains of North Central Vietnam. Along the way, a short stop at a mountain pass offers sweeping views of valleys that seem to stretch endlessly.
By noon, we arrive at a local lodge for lunch, where fresh, homestyle dishes set the tone for the days ahead. In the afternoon, a visit to the Cham River opens up a gentle walk across a suspension bridge to discover the region’s iconic bamboo water wheels. These humble yet clever constructions reflect how local wisdom has long flowed with nature.
After a short rest at a fisherman’s house, a peaceful rafting experience awaits. Drifting on the calm waters, you’ll learn how to steer your bamboo raft as the scenery unfolds slowly along the riverbanks—an experience both soothing and insightful. The day winds down with dinner back at your lodge.
Overnight in Pu Luong.
With the morning mist still hovering over the valley, we begin a soft trek descending into rice terrace country. The trail meanders through layers of green - past forested paths, farmlands, and rustic villages that nestle quietly beneath dramatic mountain backdrops.
As you walk, each turn reveals a different rhythm of life - children crossing small wooden bridges, farmers tending their fields, streams flowing beside narrow trails. The trek leads us to a peaceful spot perfect for a picnic lunch, surrounded by nothing but nature’s presence.
The afternoon is yours to wander a little more, capture the view, or simply enjoy the calm before we return to the lodge.
Overnight in Pu Luong.
Our last morning in Pu Luong brings you closer to the everyday life of hill villagers. A quiet walk through rice fields and farm plots invites you to learn about local practices - whether it’s distilling rice wine or weaving colorful brocade by hand.
After lunch at the lodge, we take one final look at the valley before saying goodbye to this serene corner of Vietnam. The drive back to Hanoi marks the end of a short but unforgettable escape.
