Tour highlights
Underneath Northern Vietnam’s ever-changing skies lies a tapestry of landscapes that defy expectation. Towering limestone cliffs pierce through mist in one place, while elsewhere, mountains step down in rhythmic terraces carved by hand and history. Rivers disappear into caves, then reappear in golden fields where water and sky blur into one. The sea itself becomes sculpture, scattered with islands, quiet in the morning, glowing at dusk.
Here, every region holds its own secret: Sapa’s highland hush, Ninh Binh’s surreal calm, Ha Long’s otherworldly expanse, Hanoi’s quiet poetry beneath the bustle. It is a land not meant to be rushed through, but felt slowly, deeply, and with awe.

Upon arrival at the airport, our guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the heart of Hanoi. The rest of the day is yours to relax or take a gentle walk through the lively streets. Overnight in Hanoi.
The day begins with a journey through some of Hanoi’s most meaningful landmarks. At the Ho Chi Minh Complex, feel the reverence of a nation at his stilt house and the lotus-shaped One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Ethnology Museum, where you will discover fascinating cultural stories through both indoor and outdoor exhibits.
Later, wander through the Old Quarter, where each street whispers tales of traditional crafts and history. Savor the flavors of the city with steaming bowls of pho, crispy banh mi, or smoky bun cha from local vendors. A quick stop at Dong Xuan Market immerses you in the local rhythm. As the sun sets, indulge in a cup of creamy egg coffee at a tucked-away cafe. In the evening, transfer to the train station for your overnight journey to Lao Cai.
Arriving in Lao Cai in the early morning, you will be transferred to Sapa for breakfast before starting an unforgettable adventure to the peak of Indochina. Glide through the clouds aboard the cable car to Fansipan Mountain and watch the world below slowly unfold into breathtaking views of terraced valleys and mist-covered peaks.
At the final station, a short stair climb leads to the summit, where a stone pyramid marks the height of 3,143 meters. Here, surrounded by drifting clouds, the landscape touches something deep in the soul. Return to Sapa for rest and a peaceful evening. Overnight in Sapa.
The morning opens with a scenic drive to Lao Chai, a village of the H’Mong people. Begin a gentle trek through the valley to Ta Van, home to the Dzay ethnic group. You will stop for lunch at a local house, where the simplicity of mountain life speaks through flavors and stories.
Continue to Giang Ta Chai, where the Red Dao people live near a soft waterfall and a wooden rattan bridge stretches quietly over the stream.
Return to Sapa for some free time before heading to Lao Cai station. The night train carries you back toward Hanoi. Overnight on the train.
Arrive in Hanoi at dawn. After breakfast, the journey heads south to Ninh Binh, a region where history and nature blend in poetic silence.
Begin with Hoa Lu, the ancient capital, where temples of kings Dinh and Le still stand amidst stone and moss. Then, step into the serene world of Trang An, where a boat ride takes you through a maze of river caves, limestone peaks, and mirror-like waters. The rhythm of the paddle echoes through the cliffs, calming and timeless.
Check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, depart for the legendary seascape of Ha Long Bay. Upon boarding your cruise, a warm welcome and lunch await as you sail past iconic karsts and scattered islets.
Depending on your boat, the afternoon may include cave visits, kayaking, swimming in emerald waters, or simply lounging on the sundeck as the bay shifts with the light.
As evening falls, enjoy a quiet dinner on board, surrounded by the stillness of the bay. Overnight on boat.
Wake up gently with tea, coffee, and the rising sun. Cruise a little more through the bay’s dreamlike formations before enjoying brunch on board.
After disembarkation, you will be driven back to Hanoi. The rest of the day is free to spend as you wish. Overnight in Hanoi.
Enjoy your final morning at leisure until transfer to the airport for your departure flight. The journey ends, but the impressions - from mountain peaks to bay waters - remain.
