Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to the hotel and check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Start the city tour with a visit to the Independence Palace, the former presidential headquarters during the war era. Continue to the Central Post Office, a beautiful colonial structure with intricate bas-reliefs. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral, a Catholic church built during the French colonial period.
In the afternoon, explore the War Remnants Museum, which presents a comprehensive view of the conflict in Vietnam through documents, photographs, and international responses. If time permits, stroll through Ben Thanh Market to experience daily local life. Return to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
After breakfast, transfer to Tay Ninh to visit the Cao Dai Temple, known for its striking architecture and vibrant noon ceremony.
After a lunch break (on your own), visit the Cu Chi Tunnels - an extensive underground network built during wartime. Explore sections of the tunnels and gain insight into local resilience during the conflict.
Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, transfer to Cai Be. Take a boat trip along the Cai Be River to Tan Phong Islet, where a rowing boat ride (20–25 minutes) through a small canal offers close-up views of orchard landscapes and everyday rural life. Enjoy tropical fruits and traditional folk music in a garden setting.
Visit Phu Chau Pagoda or Cai Be Church. Continue to traditional handicraft villages to observe local techniques such as popcorn making, rice paper production, beekeeping, and coconut candy making. Sample local specialties and enjoy honey tea.
Cruise to Dong Hoa Hiep Village to visit one of the region’s historical houses: either Mr. Kiet’s traditional home, recognized by UNESCO, or Mr. Ba Duc’s colonial villa. Lunch at a traditional or garden house.
Return to Cai Be and transfer to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Wake up early for a visit to the Cai Rang floating market, the most iconic market in the Mekong Delta. Boats gather to sell a wide range of products, from fruits and vegetables to daily essentials.
Return to the hotel for breakfast. Transfer to Rach Gia for the speedboat to Phu Quoc. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
Enjoy your time at leisure on Phu Quoc Island. Optional activities include swimming, snorkeling, or exploring local markets. Overnight in Phu Quoc.
