After breakfast at your hotel, we set off for Cai Be.
A gentle boat ride upstream the Cai Be River takes us to Tan Phong Islet, where you’ll board a small rowing boat for about 20–25 minutes along peaceful canals. As we glide through the waterways, you can observe the rhythm of local life and the lush orchards. Stop to enjoy fresh tropical fruits and listen to traditional folk music performed in a garden.
We then visit Phu Chau Pagoda or Cai Be Church before heading to a traditional handicraft village. Here, you can watch how locals make popcorn, rice paper, honey, and coconut candy, and enjoy tasting these specialties with a warm cup of honey tea.
Our cruise continues to Dong Hoa Hiep Village to visit either Mr. Kiet’s ancient house, recognized by UNESCO for its Southern Vietnamese architecture, or Mr. Ba Duc’s charming colonial-style house. Lunch is served at a traditional or garden house. In the afternoon, we return to Cai Be and transfer to Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho.
Rise early around 6:00 am as we head to the famous Cai Rang Floating Market, where life unfolds on the water and boats brim with everything from fresh produce to daily essentials. This is the heart of the Mekong Delta’s trade and a sight not to be missed.
After returning to the hotel for breakfast, we visit the Binh Thuy Ancient House, surrounded by an orchid garden and known as a filming location for L’Amant.
From here, we make our way back to Ho Chi Minh City, transferring directly to Tan Son Nhat Airport for your departure flight. End of program.
