08:00 Pick up at your hotel in central Hanoi. As the journey begins, we head northwest, passing through peaceful stretches of Phu Tho, Yen Bai, and Lao Cai. The five-hour drive reveals changing scenes - riverside towns, terraced hills, and clouds that drift low over mountain ridges.
Arrive in Sapa around noon and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After check-in and a short rest.
15:00 We’ll set out on foot to explore Cat Cat Village. A tranquil walk under the rainforest canopy of Hoang Lien National Park leads us into Hmong culture - stilt houses, handwoven cloths, and soft echoes of mountain life. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. The evening is yours to discover Sapa at your own pace.
Overnight in Sapa.
After breakfast, prepare for a full day of trekking into the heart of Sapa Valley. Follow a small dirt trail and cross the gentle flow of the Muong Hoa River to reach Lao Chai, a Black Hmong village surrounded by morning mist and layered rice terraces.
Continue toward Ta Van Village, home of the Dzay people. Along the way, you’ll spot ancient rock carvings tucked quietly among the fields. A simple lunch is served in a local house - humble, hearty, and rich with local flavor.
In the afternoon, we venture through a bamboo forest toward Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao village where daily life remains deeply connected to the land. Return to your hotel. Free evening at leisure.

Enjoy your final morning at ease - whether for quiet moments at a café or a stroll through Sapa Central Market for last-minute mementos. After check-out, transfer back to Hanoi. The highlands slowly fade behind as the journey comes full circle.
